Today I've done four different version of what my mast head is going to look like.

Defining My Audience

  Based on my questionnaire the age range my magazine will be targeting is 15-24 both males and females who are in to rock, metal and alternative music genre. Since I am aiming to get the interest of a more mature audience i am not planning to include cheap gossip that may or may not be true but news about their favourite artist along with new talent debuting and keeping them up to date about new album releases, concerts and fan signings (autograph give aways). By doing this I am aiming to inform my audience as well as providing them with means of socialising with others of the same interest these genres. Therefore social groups who enjoy listen to these types of  music could gain a sense of belonging and as well sense of identity. Using interview, the readers will find out more about the artis
I want my magazine to be affordable to anyone be it student or worker, so that it will be bought often even if you only have a couple of quid.

Using the website www.surveymonkey.com i created a web survey which can also serve as printable questionnaire to find out what are the public's preferences regarding a music magazine, including: price,  where they usually shop for their magazines, what they think it should come with, colours used in a magazine etc.
